How it all started

After years of owning and managing my own properties it became clear that I enjoyed the challenge of Residential Property Management and the Industry itself. So much so, that I traded my corporate career for it.

As you might know from personal experience, either as a landlord or as a tenant, it is difficult to find a Property Manager who cares, has a sense of urgency, and makes things happen in a timely fashion. It is for these reasons that I decided to start my own Property Management company. At Gilco we manage residential properties on Auckland’s North Shore and surrounding areas.
